Nusrat Trust currently supports over 2,500 disabled children across Karachi, Pakistan, providing care, education, mobility support, and vocational opportunities. By the will of Allah, we are now beginning a new chapter. On a 5-acre site in Malir, Karachi, construction is about to begin on the first purpose-built residential and education building for children with disabilities. This building forms Phase One of a long-term vision, with a total construction cost of £540,000, and will provide a safe, dignified environment where approximately 250 children can live, learn, and develop independence through education, accommodation, and vocational training. As the Prophet (peace be upon him) said, “The best of people are those who are most beneficial to others.” (Hadith)

The Founding 500 project invites 500 committed supporters to help lay the foundations of this first building through a 24-month commitment of £45 per month (£1,080 in total) — just £1.50 a day. This initiative forms a key part of meeting the overall project cost and is a means of sadaqah-e-jariyah, where the reward continues as long as others benefit. Every contribution helps build a space that will serve vulnerable children for years to come, offering lasting impact beyond a single moment. Supporters will receive regular project updates as construction progresses, and all funds raised under the Founding 500 are dedicated specifically to the completion of this first building.
